The one used here in this blog was taken in the little park at the center of town. As for the doll, I used what I had. I have my studded items and my preppy plaid and it all depends on my mood. I feel like I need to include that disclaimer before people read my comment and shun/dismiss me because I am not a true goth chick. That being said, I think the gown is adoreable. Loved it, actually. But, to be honest... the photos on the doll in the cemetary are a wee bit creepy. It's not the clothes, its the setting mixed with the dead looking doll. From a merchandising standpoint, the design would be taken more seriously in a less "Halloween" cheesy photo shoot. Now, let the hating of my opinio begin!!! For his recent baptism, my littlest guy wore a combination of both colors. No one even noticed. Of course, this might have had something to do with their concerns that he was going to accidentally burn down the church. I consider my style to be laid back, earthy with a little funk. My 8 year old experiments with her "look" often. She's done "Tokyo Street style" "bag lady chic" and "panda wear." Now, I don't know what any of these mean, but she thinks their cool. Your gown is gorgeous and goth. Love it. I made the dress as a special order for a customer in the UK and I didn't have a baby to put it on for photos, so I grabbed Ravynn's little 'Edgar' for the shoot. I don't believe it was used for an actual christening, but only for family photos. Haha :) Okay. It feels overwhelming to me as a main color and I'm sure that's how a lot of people feel about black. It's all about perspective.
